BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The primary objective of Karuna club is to create awareness among students from the early stage of life and kindle their feelings of love, kindness, and compassion towards all living beings, animal life, plant life and protection of enviornment as enshrined in article 51 A(g) of the Constitution of India. This is also in accordance with our age-old rich cultural heritage.
Already, such Clubs are functioning in hundreds of schools in Rajasthan, Gujarath. Tamilnadu and other states and the results are encouraging.
KARUNA INTERNATIONAL
Karuna International now proposes to promote the above said project in all high schools, higher secondary schols and colleges of our country. The club membership is open to all students without any discrimiantions of religion or class or group of society.
To implement this project intensively and evaluate it qualitatively and quantitatively, necessary guidance is given which may be followed strictly to make this useful project highly successful.
OUR FUNDAMENTAL DUTY
It shall be the duty of every citizen of India to protect and improve the natural environment including forest, lakes, Rivers and wild life and to have compassion for living creatures
